MountainCrest Pickleball History

2016
Courts built

2017-2020
Everyone at Mountain Crest started as new players.  Jim Harris took charge and organized events.  Tuesday nights, Thursday nights and Saturday mornings were busy.

2021
A lot of new people started playing.  Some were tennis players and picked up pickleball pretty fast.  Others learned fast and the program grew quickly.

2022
The program continued to grow with more people coming out.  People started playing almost every night.

2023
The program continued to grow with more people coming out.  Kids started playing and special courts times and instructional sessions were reserved for them.  The kids started to become pretty good players.

2024
The program continued to grow with more people coming out.  The kids program continued to grow, with the 11+ year old kids becoming pretty good players.
Club members raised money to buy portable nets to be used on courts 7 & 8, turning what was previously 2 courts into 4 courts.
